Texas Instruments' device is a compact single buck converter with adaptive on-time D-CAP3 mode control. It is designed for high precision, high efficiency, fast transient response, ease of use, fewer external components, and space-saving power systems. This device has fully differential sensing, TI integrated FET, its high-side on-resistance is mohm, and its low-side on-resistance is mohm. The device also has an accurate 0.5%, 0.9V reference and an ambient temperature range of –40C to 125C. Competitive characteristics include: very few external components, accurate load regulation and line regulation, automatic skip or FCCM mode operation, and internal soft-start control. The device is available in a 5mm x 7mm, 40-pin LQFN-CLIP (RVF) package (excluding RoHs).
