 Texas Instruments' LMR16020 is a 60V, 2A SIMPLE SWITCHER step-down regulator with integrated high-side MOSFET. It has a wide input range from 4.3V to 60V and is suitable for a wide range of applications from industrial to automotive for unregulated power regulation. In sleep mode, the quiescent current of the regulator is 40µA, making it suitable for battery-powered systems. Extremely low current in shutdown mode, only 1 µA, further extends battery life. A wide adjustable switching frequency range optimizes efficiency or external component size. Internal loop compensation means that users do not need to perform tedious loop compensation design tasks. This also minimizes the external components of the device. Precise enable inputs simplify regulator control and system power sequencing. The LMR16020 is available in an 8-lead HSOIC package with an exposed pad to reduce thermal resistance
