The new dual MOSFET provides class leading low ON resistance

ROHM has developed the QH8Mx5/SH8Mx5 series of dual MOSFET products with ±40V/±60V voltage resistance (Nch+Pch). These devices are ideal for driving base stations (cooling fans) and motors in industrial applications, such as factory automation equipment that requires 24V inputs.

Following the introduction of the latest generation of Pch MOSFET, the company developed a sixth-generation 40V/60V MOSFET using the latest Nch MOSFET precision process. This combination provides a class-leading dual Nch+Pch MOSFET that provides the ±40V/±60V voltage resistance required for 24V inputs. In addition, the company has developed a +40V/+60V QH8Kxx/SH8Kxx (Nch+Nch) series to support a wider range of requirements. (Nch+Pch, Nch+Nch a total of 12 models)

Using the latest technology, the series provides leading low ON resistance in the ±40V class, 61% lower than the Pch MOSFET in dual MOSFET products. This greatly reduces the power consumption of the application. In  addition,  the integration of the two devices into one package enables the miniaturization of applications by reducing the  installation area and component selection effort (combined with Nch and Pch).

Typical applications include fan motors for large consumer devices; Fan motors for base stations and industrial equipment (i.e., factory automation, robotics).
