Teledyne DALSA announced the full launch of the new Genie Nano-10GigE M/C8200 and M/C6200 cameras based on the e2v 67M and 37M monochrome and color sensors. The new Genie Nano-10GigE is a future oriented and scalable solution that significantly improves the interface speed and resolution. System designers have a simpler integration path for upgrading applications that require faster data capture and transmission.

"The new Teledyne e2v Emerald 67M global shutter CMOS image sensor has excellent performance in high-end optical detection and can capture high-quality images." Manny Romero, senior product manager of Teledyne DALSA, said, "The addition of a new series of high-resolution 10GigE models enables us to provide a wider range of high-speed interfaces, with resolutions ranging from 37 MP to 67 MP."

The new Genie Nano-10GigE 67M camera is the smallest 10GigE visual camera in the industry, with full resolution image transmission up to 15 fps. The operating temperature range, PTP synchronization and size commonality with other Genie Nano cameras of the M/C8200 and M/C6200 have been improved, with wider applications and easier integration or upgrade. In addition, the compact overall dimensions of 59 mm x 59 mm enable system designers to transition from 1, 2.5, and 5GigE to 10GigE visual cameras without changing the software. The Genie Nano-10GigE camera will provide high-speed and reliable results for applications such as electronic manufacturing inspection, industrial measurement, intelligent transportation system, aviation imaging, sports and entertainment events.
