Bourns has expanded its industry-leading discrete TVS diode product line by introducing two new series of ESD / EFT surge protection devices. The company created SMA6J and SMA6L-Q TVS diodes to protect the power bus and I / O interfaces in data lines and DC power supplies. In addition, the company's SMA6J-Q model is AEC-Q101 compliant, making it ideal for a variety of communications, industrial and consumer electronics applications that require high reliability in certain harsh environments.
Both models are offered in a compact industry standard DO214-AC (SMA) package, and PPP power consumption has increased by 600W compared to the 400W industry standard. TVS diodes often have peak pulse power ratings, allowing designers to determine the best type required for a particular application and environment. These unidirectional / bidirectional devices provide 5-43V reverse isolation voltage. The company's new TVS diodes help power supply designers meet their high power density and small size requirements.
