Onsemi NCP81075 MOSFET driver and BLDC driver scheme of operational amplifier. With the increasingly significant trend of intelligent application, the advantages of brushless DC motor, such as high energy efficiency and long life, are gradually recognized by the market and widely used in various fields.

According to relevant statistics, the income of the brushless DC motor industry has increased year by year in recent years, and the pattern of the motor market dominated by AC motors and brushless DC motors is being broken by brushless DC motors. Under this trend, DaLian DaLian Shiping introduced the BLDC driver scheme based on onsemi NCP81075 MOSFET driver and operational amplifier, which can be widely used in the external units of air conditioners and automatic manufacturing.

This scheme uses NCP81075 as the driving element of DC brushless motor. NCP81075 is a high-performance dual MOSFET grid driver, which can withstand the highest voltage up to 180V, and is very suitable for MOSFET/IGBT driving applications operating under high voltage. The driver IC and bootstrap diode are integrated inside the device, eliminating the need for external discrete diodes. In addition, the Low side and High side of the device can be independently controlled, matching a 4ns delay time between their opening and closing. In addition, NCP81075 also provides an independent undervoltage locking protection mechanism. When the drive voltage is lower than a specific threshold voltage, the low side and high side drivers will force the output of low level to protect the circuit.

In addition to NCP81075, NCS20166 and NCS21911 operational amplifiers are also used in this scheme. Among them, NCS20166 is used to monitor the current. It has rail to rail input and output capabilities and 10MHz bandwidth. This low quiescent current, low noise amplifier is tuned to provide an extremely low input offset voltage to the circuit. NCS21911 is a high-precision operational amplifier with low input offset voltage and extremely low zero drift characteristics.

Thanks to these high-performance devices, the BLDC driver scheme can provide up to 1KW of application power, bringing high efficiency and reliability to the motor system. At the same time, the compact motor design is an ideal choice for electrical engineers.
