Hirose's new product is a high-power single-loop (position) cable connector that supports 150A battery applications. The PS3C series uses a highly reliable blade contact design with a clip-like structure and bellows contacts with multiple contacts. This structure reduces the contact resistance and allows a large current to pass. PS3C series connectors are non-polar connectors that provide cable solutions that support various battery layouts. The PS3C series has a small right-angle socket, which can keep the low profile of the battery cell surface, thereby reducing the occupied area in the battery cell area and significantly saving space.
