The Maxim Integrated MAX3262x ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller is a 32-bit RISC (M4 plus floating point unit) device. It is well-suited for emerging categories of medical and fitness applications. This architecture combines high efficiency, signal processing capabilities with low cost and ease of use. The device has four powerful and flexible power modes. Built-in dynamic clock gating and firmware-controlled power gating minimize power consumption in any application. Multiple SPI, UART and I2C serial interfaces as well as 1-Wire host and USB allow interconnection to various external sensors. A four-input 10-bit ADC with optional reference is provided. It is a secure version of the MAX32620 and integrates a Trust Protection Unit (TPU) with encryption and advanced security features. Typical applications include sports watches, fitness monitors, wearable medical patches, portable medical devices, and sensor hubs.
