Three new series of Murata-TOKO power inductors and LF antenna coils. The DFEG series and DFEH series power inductors and 3D LF SA3Dxx series antenna coils combine Murata's core technology and electronic component knowledge with TOKO's advanced wiring and magnetic materials to provide high-quality products for today's automotive market. For PEPS (Passive Entry, Passive Start) systems, the SA3Dxx series M3D LF antenna coils receive polling signals from the vehicle side (LF frequency: 125 or 134.2 kHz). Installed on portable information terminals, they use LF signals for receivers and UHF signals for transmitters, enabling interactive communications. The exchange of authentication information between the key fob and the vehicle allows the hands-free automatic opening and closing of the door, and promotes engine start. Other applications include car immobilizers, which do not require battery operation on smart keys. The functions of the new SA3Dxx series of three-axis LF antenna coils include: a packaged core and windings to prevent shock; and its structure is optimized to provide high Q and high sensitivity. Highly reliable and durable, wide inductance range enables design flexibility, DFEG series metal alloy power inductors have high current capability and have a magnetic shield structure to provide low DC resistance. Other benefits of the DFEG series are low iron loss and low magnetic flux leakage. They have an operating temperature range of -40 ° C to + 125 ° C and are available in three sizes: 7mm x 7mm, 10mm x 10mm and 12mm x 12mm. Parts are fully AEC-Q200 qualified. Suitable applications include engine ECUs, infotainment systems, navigation systems, dashboard ECUs, display audio and Class D amplifiers. DFEH series power inductors are also metal alloys, with low DC resistance magnetic shielding structure, high current capability, and the additional advantages of low iron loss and low leakage magnetic flux. The wide operating temperature range of -40 ° C to + 125 ° C is suitable for ECU applications such as engines, pumps and headlights, and start-stop systems.
