Bourns offers two new TVS diode surge protection families designed to meet the component miniaturization requirements required in today's highly integrated and high power density designs. The company's Model SMF4L and Model SMF4L-Q series use compact, thin surface-mount SOD-123FL packages with a height of only 1.125 mm, which is 50% smaller than the company's previous generation SMAJ series TVS diodes.
The company optimizes these highly reliable ESD and voltage transient protection devices for data lines, DC power supplies, and various computer, telecommunications, industrial, and consumer electronics applications. Both product families provide isolation voltages from 12V to 58V and 400W peak pulse power consumption at 10 / 1000s. In addition, the SMF4L-Q model meets the requirements of AEC-Q101, making it ideal for equipment used in particularly challenging environments.
