Fairview Microwave Inc. now offers a new line of 5G outdoor rated omnidirectional antennas for the 4G, 5G, LTE and CBRS bands. They support 6, 7, 8 and 10dBi gain and are also available with fiberglass radomes (PRO series). This small form factor omnidirectional antenna is an ideal solution when large area coverage is required and traditional base station antennas are too bulky or expensive.

Its new 5G omnidirectional antennas provide range extension and simple deployment to build wireless local area networks, cellular communication networks and private networks. The antenna's sturdy polycarbonate and fiberglass radome can withstand extreme weather, with wind speeds rated in excess of 120 mph. They also feature heavy-duty steel mast mounting brackets for quick deployment and are available in low-cost polycarbonate or ABS options.

Models that support 2x2 and 4x4 MIMO configurations ensure double and quadruple data speeds compared to single-input antennas. Additionally, these co-linear omnidirectional antennas offer n-type connectors and are ideal for SISO or MIMO operation.

Kevin Hietpas, Antenna Product Line Manager said:"We have designed our new line of omnidirectional antennas for 5G to include broad coverage in rural areas and other areas that are often difficult to reach. Not only are they technically superior to traditional base station antennas, but they are also economical and reliable to meet all your wireless network needs. ”
