     The onsemi NCV12711 current mode PWM controller is a fixed frequency peak current mode device with all the characteristics required to implement a single ended power converter topology. The working voltage of NCV12711 is 4V to 45V, without auxiliary winding, within its heat dissipation capacity. NCV12711 is equipped with a programmable oscillator with a working frequency range of 100kHz to 1MHz and integrated slope compensation to prevent subharmonic oscillation.

      The onsemi NCV12711 current mode PWM controller integrates programmable soft start, input voltage UVLO protection and over power protection (OPP) circuits, which can limit the total power capacity of the circuit as the input voltage increases. In addition, NCV12711 includes a set of protection features, including cycle by cycle peak current limit with smooth frequency increase and timer based overload protection. All protection functions place the controller in low static failure mode, with 1s automatic recovery cycle, so as to allow the system to recover when the failure conditions are eliminated.
