STMicroelectronics TSB622 general-purpose low-power dual operational amplifier (op amp) enhances robustness and flexibility in industrial and automotive applications. The unity gain of TSB622 is stable, the operating temperature range is extended to -40°C to 125°C, and it has obtained automotive-grade certification. It supports a wide power supply voltage from 2.7V to 36V. Designers can use the same device to design multiple devices with different voltage domains. For such applications, the rail-to-rail output maximizes dynamic range, while the 1mV input offset voltage ensures the same high precision of the low-power op amp.

With a gain-bandwidth product (GBW) of 1.7MHz and a maximum operating current of 375μA per channel (under 36V supply), the TSB622 achieves a high speed-to-power ratio. The low supply current is suitable for low-power applications and helps extend the runtime of battery-operated devices.

In addition, 4kV ESD withstand voltage (HBM - Human Body Model) and enhanced immunity to electromagnetic interference ensure that the TSB622 can withstand technically demanding industrial and automotive environments.

The TSB622 dual op amp is now available in SO8 and MiniSO8 packages, saving board space and helping to reduce the overall cost of the PCB. Available in July, the 3mm x 3mm DFN8 package will feature wettable flanks construction that provides additional mechanical strength to meet automotive industry requirements.
