Silicon Labs has expanded its portfolio of industry-leading RF performance Bluetooth low energy solutions for IoT developers. The company provides performance, flexibility and packaging options for Bluetooth 5.2, including SoC, SiP, modules and NCP. The company's IoT solutions provide top-notch performance and cutting-edge security, and are optimized for power efficiency, size, cost, and turnkey simplicity.
The company has expanded its Bluetooth low energy product portfolio by launching the BGM220S. The device is only 6mm x 6mm, which is one of the smallest Bluetooth SiPs in the world. It provides an ultra-compact, low-cost, long-battery-life SiP module, and adds a turnkey Bluetooth connection for particularly small products. Also launched at the same time is BGM220P, which is a slightly larger PCB model, optimized for wireless performance, and has a better link budget to achieve better range. These devices are one of the first Bluetooth modules to support Bluetooth direction finding, and can provide up to ten years of battery life through a button battery.
