The DLP chipset is the only product that combines full programmability with the resolution and highest resolution of more than 10,000 conventional adaptive drive beam (ADB) technologies (1 million pixels per headlight). OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers can use this new programmable ADB solution to design headlight systems that maximize the brightness of street lights while minimizing the impact of oncoming traffic or signal reflections Glare. This new DLP technology is suitable for all light sources, including LED and laser lighting, and provides engineers with a customizable beam pattern to more precisely control the light distribution on the road. The flexibility of DLP technology enables automakers and tier one suppliers to create headlight systems that combine programmable software and compact optics to improve performance without sacrificing style. System engineers can also use this solution to partially or completely obscure individual pixels to create a headlight system that allows the driver to maintain high beams while driving the vehicle under all conditions without affecting other drivers. DLP technology for high-resolution headlight systems also allows automakers and tier-1 suppliers to turn their lighting systems into new communication channels by projecting relevant information on the road. Road projection improves communication between drivers, pedestrians and other vehicles, and enables customers to meet the future communication needs of autonomous driving and autonomous vehicle systems. Major customers use the DLP5531-Q1 chipset to sample and design high-resolution headlight systems. The H2 version no longer provides the DLP5531-Q1 chipset.
