Texas Instruments TPA6404-Q1 device is a four-channel analog input Class-D audio amplifier, which can achieve a 2.1MHz PWM switching frequency, a cost-optimized solution in a 4.5cm2 miniature PCB size, and Full operating start / stop events to 4.5V and excellent sound quality up to 100kHz audio bandwidth. The amplifier is optimized for use in entry-level car audio systems that generate analog audio input signals. Compared to traditional linear amplifier solutions, Class D topology greatly improves efficiency. The output switching frequency operates above the AM band, thereby eliminating AM band interference and reducing the size and cost of the output filter. The device is housed in a 56-lead HSSOP package with the exposed thermal pad facing up.
