Post Date: 2022-08-08, Analog Devices Inc.

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) introduces the DS28E301-Wire ECDSA Secure Authenticator, a cost-effective solution for detecting and protecting products from counterfeiting or misuse. The device can be integrated as simply and easily as possible through a fixed-function cryptographic toolbox based on the industry standard F IPS 186 Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA), secure storage of keys and application data, and a single-contact 1-Wire interface In an existing design or a new design.

The DS28E30 offers a variety of security features that enable the management of the use of limited-life tools, sensors, and other peripherals. These include a monotonic, non-resettable down counter; and an optional, ECDSA-protected 1Kb general-purpose EEPROM for storing application data including end-product lifecycle information.

DS28E30 main features:

● FIPS 186 ECDSA-P256 based challenge/response certification

● Single-pin 1-Wire interface minimizes interconnection requirements

● Each device is factory programmed with an ADI public key certificate to ensure the product is genuine

● 3Kb secure EEPROM for storing user memory, keys and certificates

● Wide operating voltage range: 1.62V-5.25V, -40℃ to +85℃

● 1.2mm x 1.4mm 4-bump WLP small package, 0.5mm pitch
