      Yokogawa helps transformer manufacturers develop and validate losses in high-efficiency products for customers in the utility industry. Released the WT5000 Precision Power Analyzer-Transformer version,the instrument is equipped with a special input module that provides better uncertainty specifications for transformer testing.      The device is the company's most accurate power analyzer, offering 0.008% accuracy at unity power factor and best accuracy at low power factor at commercial frequencies of 45Hz to 66Hz. Low power factor has a big impact on accuracy. Even at 100V and 1A power factors as low as 0.001, the instrument provides an accuracy of 0.6% of measurement reading.

     The analyzer is ISO17025 certified calibrated at 53Hz optimized for power factors of 1, 0.5, 0.05, 0.01 and 0.001. Further calibration up to 100kHz ensures performance when measuring distorted waveforms, for example, across transformer no-load loss current measurements. This enables an integrated transformer measurement system to accurately measure power loss and capture any drift outside the range described in the IEC60076-8 standard.

      The device offers hardware hotkey support for a full touchscreen and powerful software for remote data capture, providing a seamless and intuitive experience that makes connecting, configuring and measuring easier. The 10.1-inch WXGA touch screen provides excellent noise resistance even in high-noise environments.
