In this regard, Dalian Dapinjia launched a 60W high-efficiency ultra-low standby power supply solution based on the Infineon ICE5GSAG device.

     ICE5GSAG is the fifth-generation fixed-frequency PWM controller introduced by Infineon, which is optimized for offline switch-mode power supplies in cascaded configurations, helping to achieve fast start-up of the power supply, suitable for standby power supply products in a flyback architecture . And the product itself can be used with MOSFETs of different Rds-on levels to meet the design of different output wattages and increase the flexibility and versatility of the product design. In addition, the ICE5GSAG has built-in various protection functions, so it can support the power system even in the event of electronic product failure.

     With excellent performance, this scheme can effectively reduce the power consumption in standby mode. And with the help of the various circuit protection functions integrated in the ICE5GSAG device, the solution can reduce the number of surrounding circuit components. In addition, since the ICE5GSAG can operate in high frequency mode, it further reduces the size of the magnetic components. Benefiting from these advantages, this solution has the characteristics of high efficiency, low cost and small volume.
