Diodes Company Launches Two Precision Power Amplifiers Conforming to Automotive Specifications

Post Date: 2022-10-19, Diodes Incorporated

Diodes introduced two types of precision power amplifiers (op amps) for different signal frequency conditions to meet the needs of advanced signal regulation in modern automobile design. DIODES the AS2376Q's low signal-to-noise ratio characteristics indicate that it has been optimized in high-frequency use, such as the on-board charger (OBC), DC-DC converter, battery management system (BMS) implementation, pump, airbag, position sensor and occupancy detection system. DIODES AS2333Q was published in August, and its minimum quiescent current makes it very suitable for solving the functions that the vehicle continues to perform even when it is inactive.

The 5.5MHz bandwidth enables the AS2376Q power amplifier to handle 50kHz signals without significant loss of signal accuracy. Its low input noise density (9.5nV/ OHz) and 0.8µVpp low frequency noise, coupled with rail-to-rail output, enhance signal integrity. The AS2376Q has a 5μV (typical) compensation voltage and supports a wide dynamic range. Supply voltages are accepted from 2.2V to 5.5V for greater design flexibility.

The AS2333Q power amplifier has a static current of only 12μA on each amplifier channel, so it can be used in systems that must always be in operation. Its excellent common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) over its rail-to-rail input range, coupled with near-zero drift over time and temperature, provides long-term signal accuracy in wide common-mode rail precision product applications. Its supply voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V enables it to operate on 3.3V and 5V car rails.

The AS2376Q and AS2333Q are packaged in SO-8. Both meet AEC-Q100 Grade 1 specifications, are manufactured in IATF 16949 certified facilities, and support PPAP documentation.
