Diodes Incorporated AL17150-10B high-voltage step-down switch is a universal high-voltage input step-down regulator that provides accurate CV. The switch also has excellent dynamic performance without the need for optocouplers for line and load regulation. The device integrates a 500V / 1A MOSFET, enabling it to use fewer external components and create a low BOM cost solution. The switch can provide output current up to 300mA and standby power below 50mW, making it suitable for IoT connected lighting equipment. This device has excellent regulation performance and high power efficiency. The characteristics of the maximum peak current and driving frequency change with the load, which can achieve excellent efficiency at light loads and improve the overall average efficiency. The device has rich protection functions that can improve system security and reliability. It has overheat protection, VCC undervoltage lockout function, output short circuit protection, overload protection and open loop protection. Typical applications are offline low-power applications, including connected LED lighting power supplies for microcontrollers and other IoT applications.
