To help EMC engineers meet the growing demand for higher measurement speeds, with the new extension, the R&S ESW EMI test receiver has the industry's largest bandwidth and is the fastest EMI test receiver on the market. is a unique broadband solution introduced by Rohde & Schwarz that can measure up to 970MHz in real time while maintaining high dynamic range and measurement accuracy.

In order to speed up the measurement time and perform a more careful analysis of interfering signals, the receiver will have the possibility to increase its FFT bandwidth to 350MHz with the new R&S ESW-B350 option and up to 350MHz with the new R&S ESW-B1000 option Market leading 970MHz. This makes it the highest performing instrument not only for RF, functionality, versatility and hardware quality, but also for high-speed testing, especially pre-testing and general EMI analysis.

In frequent emissions can be scrutinized over an exceptionally long period of time, with a much higher probability of being detected. The test equipment records emission by duty cycle over a broad spectrum of 970MHz without missing the shortest pulses. The ESW-b1000 offers an FFT bandwidth of 970MHz, and the R&S ESW can process CISPR bands C and D in one pass, significantly increasing the measurement speed even if the quasi-peak and CISPR averaging detectors work in parallel. 970MHz wide spectrum for real-time measurements; users benefit from a truly gap-free spectrogram.

EMC engineers working in commercial, defense, aerospace and automotive applications will benefit from the faster speed and better signal insight provided by the R&S ESW's new FFT bandwidth extension.
