Airwaves has unveiled a new range of 8-port CBRS sector antennas covering 3.3ghz to 4.2ghz bands.

Airwave's new family of CBRS fan antennas offer gains of 16dBi to 18dBi and a 65 degree beam width. These antennas are designed to achieve high, stable gain over wideband width and to suppress sidelobe and rear lobe to mitigate intersector interference.

17dB sidelobe suppression and excellent dB to dB ratio provide channel (frequency) reuse and high levels of spectral efficiency in the most challenging and noisy environments. These models are created to be symmetric in both polarities to minimize chain imbalances.

These new antennas also provide universal radio mounts that are compatible with many popular Cambium PMP/EPMP, Ubiquiti Rocket/Prism, Mimosa and Baicell radios. For additional safety and convenience, the antenna comes with an integrated hook. In addition, the new sector antenna also offers 8 x 8 MIMO operation, 8 +/-45 tilting polarized ports, and built-in N female connectors, all in a separate enclosure. They are equipped with superior port isolation, cross polarization discrimination, gain, standing wave ratio and front to rear.

Antenna Product Line Manager Kevin Hietpas said:"Our new 8-port CBRS sector antennas allow operators to provide customers with high coverage close to and away from their access points without compromising aesthetic and architectural guidelines. The antenna's small size and high gain will serve well in small cell and urban deployments where density is considered, "
