RECOM's new series of AC / DC power supplies are designed for medical applications. The RACM100 and RACM150 are compact, high-efficiency power supplies that can provide a maximum power of 100W or 150W, respectively, in a semi-closed condition, while meeting two patient protection methods for advanced medical applications.
The universal 85 to 264 VAC input provides a single output from 12 VDC to 48 VDC. All models are up to 92% efficient, require no minimum load, and can be used in a temperature range of -25C to 80C. The output voltage is fully adjusted, with a tolerance of less than ± 0.2% over the entire input voltage range and a tolerance of less than ± 0.5% over the entire load range. The space-saving 3 "x 2" or 4 "x 2" modules provide 4kVAC reinforced isolation between input and output, and also meet the requirements of patient-contacted medical applications (2 x MOPP).
These modules comply with the medical safety standard IEC / ES / EN60601-1 3rd edition and have B and BF rated outputs with leakage currents of less than 100µA. The company said that all models are compliant with FCC Class B EMI, EN60601-1-2 and EN55022 standards.
