P-duke has introduced the RCD30W series, a 30W high-performance DC-DC converter for rugged rail and industrial applications. It extends its range of 10W to 20W railway converters in its compact 1 "X1" package. The series provides 9-36V, 18-75V, 36-160V input voltage range of 4:1, completely suitable for railway rolling stock equipment power supply voltage.

This series of products have output voltage 3.3, 5, 5.1, 12, 15, 24, ±12, ±15, ±24V and other single, double output mode, with over voltage, over current, short circuit, over temperature protection circuit.

These converters provide up to 92% efficiency, produce fewer power losses, and allow operating temperatures with radiators up to 73C ambient temperatures (natural convection cooling) at full load, meet operating temperature class OT4 standards, and conform to EN 50155.

The suffix "M3" is an option that enables the converter to operate at extremely low starting temperatures of -55C, and is specially manufactured for rugged railway and industrial applications that require harsh, extreme temperature environments.

The products comply with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 standards. In addition, the shock and vibration ratings comply with EN 61373 and MIL-STD-810F. Operating at altitudes up to 5000 m, with ambient temperatures from -40C to +105C and input voltage ranges of 4:1, these converters are ideal for any rugged, high-reliability application, such as for rolling stock and transport or in harsh industrial environments. And the 1 "X1" compact package simplifies the design, saving up to 50% PCB space.
