    The Empower Semiconductor E-Cap 0402 220nF 4V silicon capacitor, now available from Mouser, is a high-performance, ultra-low profile silicon capacitor designed for power integrity and signal integrity of high DI/DT and high-speed communication soCs. Capacitors with ultra-low ESL and ESR enable abnormal behavior at high frequencies. This results in a perfect match between power decoupling and bypass high-speed digital soCs.

    EC1001P capacitors offer ultra-low thickness (150µm, not including gaskets), allowing advanced assembly under strict height restrictions (processor packs, BGA floor, embedded packs, etc.).

    Capacitors do not derate as MLCC does. The silicon capacitor therefore supports high stability over voltage and temperature ranges.

   Typical applications include decoupling in distribution networks, voltage regulator bypass capacitors, power supply noise suppression, power integrity of high-speed ics, signal integrity of high-speed interfaces, high-frequency noise suppression, and low-requirement applications.
