Metcase's advanced Technomet instrument casings can be customized in color -- even in small batches. Options include trim and border highlights, as well as custom colors for the entire shell.

These desktop and portable instrument housings are ideal for medical and health devices, industrial controls, peripherals and interfaces, test and measurement equipment, switch boxes, communications and laboratory equipment.

All sizes are provided with a tilt/rotary carrying handle (double as a writing desk) or ABS side handles. Three sizes provide sloping front baffles. They are constructed with good tolerances to provide a modern and cohesive design. Die cast front and back bezels for a smooth appearance flush with the casing. Retractable bolt conceals set screw.

All chassis panels are equipped with M4 threaded struts for ground connectors. Each housing has four ABS feet and non-slip pads. The base panel is pre-mounted with four M3 PCB mounting posts and the internal chassis is pre-perforated for the installation of management unit PCB rails (accessories) in three, five, seven or nine positions. Removable rear panel recessed to protect connectors and switches; The anodized front panel of the accessory is also recessed to protect the keyboard and monitor.

Standard colours are light grey (RAL 7035) or anthracite (RAL 7016) and "stock" custom colours are priced no higher than standard. Aluminium housings are available in 11 sizes ranging from 225 mm x 200 mm x 75 mm to 350 mm x 320 mm x 150 mm.

Accessories include front panel, PCB mounting kit, PCB rails, and PCB/panel retaining screws.

In addition to unique colors, customization options include custom sizing, CNC punching/machining, fixing and inserting, and digital printing of legends and logos.
