Texas Instruments BQ2945xy overvoltage protector, secondary voltage monitor and protective lithium ion battery pack system are now available from Mouser. The configuration on the device helps whether the output is triggered after a fixed delay if any of the two or three units has an overvoltage condition. The output enters the high state after the overvoltage condition meets the specified delay timer. In addition, each unit on the device is independently monitored for overvoltages.
The device has an available range of 3.85V to 4.6V and a fixed OVP delay option of 4s or 6.5s. It provides low leakage current per unit input. 100nA and a small package footprint of the hexapod SON. The device provides ±10mV high precision overvoltage protection and low power consumption VPROTECT).
