    Provertha offers a comprehensive line of D-Sub connectors for a wide variety of applications and now also has a "small space" version of the nine-pin SMT European-style PCB with a smaller footprint in the new design. This provides more free assembly space for other components and meets the trend towards higher density on PCBS for industrial applications. 

     The TMC series of high-performance D-Sub connectors are designed with a small space and require 25% less PCB area due to shorter form than the existing TMC Eurostyle SMT D-Sub versions. Its reliability under high mechanical loads ensures adequate safety reserves in rugged industrial applications. With a mounting height of only 3.6mm, the connector is ideal for miniaturization in industrial applications, while ensuring a very robust device interface.

     Excellent features of the connector include its solid all-metal SMT mounting element, which is firmly fixed to the metal housing. They reliably absorb insertion and pull-out forces under mechanical stress and allow for effective and reliable grounding. Insulator body adopts integrated pick and place area made of high temperature resistant and high performance thermoplastic, and solid large SMT terminal area to meet the need of coplanar, ensuring the safe application of SMT. Black insulators facilitate simple and direct identification with the visual system.

     In addition, the fully automated SMT assembly and welding process is ensured by tape and reel packaging and an integrated vacuum pipette pickup and placement area. The SMT mounting bracket absorbs insertion forces and, therefore, protects the contacts. Double beam spring contacts ensure maximum contact reliability.

     A variety of mounting options are available, such as through-hole, UNC 4-40 or M3 thread, and UNC 4-40 or M3 thread bolts. Even greater advantages are the high current carrying capacity of 5.7A at 20C and the extended mechanical life of 250 matched cycles.
